The summer is a great time to engage in conversations about distance and reading maps as you travel away on holiday. Introducing your child/ children to maths in a fun, relaxed way allows them to explore patterns and relationships. Encouraging your child to explain what they are doing allows them to make meaning and think more deeply about the task they are solving. .
