Teaching position - permanent

 

We are advertising for a Permanent Teacher to teach in Year 4 - 8. Our school is a full primary school and anyone we employ must also prepared to teach at any Year level of the school in the future.

 

We are looking for a vibrant, engaged teacher who has a passion for teaching and learning,  a commitment to their own professional growth and is interested in opportunities for leadership in the future.

 

Teachers at Tauriko School build strong relationships with all students while having high expectations for all students. They are committed to the use of culturally responsive practices and growing their use of Te Reo. A sound knowledge of all learning areas of NZC, Assessment For Learning practice and strengths in literacy and mathematics are essential.

 

Of benefit are experience or strengths in:

·       PE & Sport

·       DMIC Maths

Sports Co-ordinator Position - permanent

 

We have a permanent Sports Co-ordinator position available to begin in 2024. 

 

This position is for you if you:

·       Have a passion for sport and recreation

·       Believe that being physically active is vital for children’s health

·       Want to enable children to explore a wide variety of sporting and outdoor pursuits to discover what they enjoy

·       Strive to have as many students as possible involved in sporting and recreational activity

·       Have strong systems and organisational skills

·       Communicate effectively with a wide variety of people – eg sporting bodies, parents, teachers and students

·       Can market and promote sporting opportunities and celebrate student successes using a variety of media – including social media.
