AG Day 2022

Tauriko School's annual Agricultural Day will take place the first week of Term 4 on Friday 21st October. This is a school day for all students.

Students will be involved in creating a range of traditional exhibits throughout the first week of school. They will be judged on these and cups will be awarded to students across the different Year levels of the school who gain the most points across exhibit categories. It is expected that these exhibits are created 100% by the students themselves.

Students show animals on the morning of the 21st October - Lambs, goats, calves and pets (no dogs though!). This year there will be no chickens. All classes visit the showing rings quietly over this time. Winners in the different show classes are presented with ribbons. Cups that are won for exhibits and showing animals are presented in the prize giving towards the later part of the morning.
