Tauriko School, in sunny Tauranga, has a part-time caretaking position (30hrs per week) available with a negotiated start date possible.
The position requires the applicant to enjoy working in an environment with both children and adults, have an enthusiastic, can do attitude; the ability to work largely unsupervised using initiative, a sunny disposition and to enjoy the opportunities this varied role brings.
Applicants should have proven expertise in care and maintenance of grounds and buildings, site security, cleaning, attending to heating of plant and swimming pools. Applicants should be open to opportunities for training to support their position. Registration or qualification as a tradesperson would be of benefit.
All applicants will meet the requirements of the Vulnerable Children’s Act, 2014, outlined in the document below and be prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical check if successful in winning the position.

Remuneration includes an hourly rate of $30 per hour.
