Literacy Support Specialist:
We are currently seeking an energetic and passionate teacher to join our amazing team at Tauriko School. This fixed-term role is a part-time position across 4 mornings with the key responsibility of running Literacy Support groups.
We are looking for a kaiako with an excellent understanding of teaching and learning, including specific strengths in learning differentiation, BSLA / Structured Literacy, The Code and overall effective practice in Literacy.
We would love for you to apply if you:
Have a passion for and a specific strength in Literacy.
Love to create a learning culture that supports diversity and incorporates Assessment for Learning principles.
Are an expert classroom practitioner.
Have strong student management and the skills to build positive relationships with learners from Years 1-8
Have the ability to design Literacy learning that is fun, differentiated and responsive to the needs of learners.
Enjoy building and maintaining strong relationships with students, staff and whānau.
